Slowly

Feverish gases
languidly feasting upon
a frozen dessert

Aren't icebergs gorgeous? A literal time capsule. Sadly, they are melting not so slowly.

Such is the nature of our world we are languid and feverish at the same time. Well done.

Well, maybe Sandy's languid and feverish at the same time, because she's talented at such, but your piece put me in the mind to just be languid, for a spell...

Many thanks, H.T!

I don't think I've ever languished over dessert (!) Just might give it a try sometime! :-)

Unfortunately this seems to be speeding up. . . hopefully we can all help to slow this change down again.

The icebergs are melting slowly and yet quickly at the same time.

Interesting take on the prompt - love it. And the photo!

do like this so very much. Don't you think that "desert" works nearly as well too -- both a frozen desert and a dessert.

Sounds like our volcano here under the snowy mountain-

Poor frozen dessert (desert) incapable of escaping its fate.

Sounds like a group of firefighters to me. Did you know firefighters eat their dessert first?
Mom told me that many a time. They do that she said, just in case a fire will come during dinner. We loved to play fireman at our house.
