HAIKU TUNATiny expressions of my soul
To have such a sister and to read such a poem years after refusing such comfort--great blessings. Thanks.
As an only child, this is a great mystery to me, to be related to someone in one's family that isn't a parent. Beautiful insight!
the image is so clear in your poem - both baby and older sister! I love the line "not world ready" -- how many of us feel that way even after half a century!
Love it! Brings back memories of my baby brother's entrance into the world.
This is so simple and wonderful. It reminds me so much of the first time our older son held his baby brother.... awkward and in awe.
You evoke so much with these few simple words. Just lovely.
Oh, how lovely! The welcoming pat of a sibling is perfect...
Very telling piece. Lovely.
