Garden mums, Autumn welcome.

Prickly kale 'round back

Wintry Summer dusk,
Songs of Love and Regret drift
o'er the starry Bay

Like clockwork, it's time,
Life says throwing barbed reminders,
to reinvent yourself

Wee of stature, she
with grit, heart, and bravery
to fill an ocean

Leaping over the
precipice of promises
broken, she soars free

Seasons shifting by
While color may leave my locks,
it flows through my life

He set his sights on
climbing slopes, to synchronize
mind-body zenith

She cut the tethers;
Up high, the vista broadens,
daunting but stirring.

Red and gold, the leaves
Brown and silver, then brown, the hair!
